Christy Cassarly, PhD, is an Assistant Professor of Biostatistics in the Department of Public Health Sciences at the Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC). She received her PhD in Biostatistics from MUSC (2017). Dr. Cassarly serves as the statistical PI or co-I of both NIH-funded, multicenter Phase II and III clinical trials as well as smaller exploratory clinical trials spanning disease areas of stroke and neurological rehabilitation. As a recent graduate, her dissertation work focused on the analysis of longitudinal ordinal measures. Current research interests include development of adaptive trial designs, futility designs, and measurement validation.
